Painting Esopus Creek at Mt. Tremper in the Catskill Mountains! I went out a few days ago to paint the lovely Esopus Creek which is the home of a lot of wild trout so there are some good access points for people to fish which are great for painters. This is my first plein air sketch of Esopus Creek. I want to do more of them and then do a large studio painting.
I'm having a sale in September of summer daytime paintings like this one! If you'd like to be on my private list to get access to the sale before the public, please sign up on my contact page: https://gaylemadeira.com/contact/
The sale will have at least 21 summer daytime works painted in New York, Florida, Vermont, and West Virginia. These pieces capture the bright fields, quiet country roads, and sunlit beaches of summer, the kind of moments we want to hold onto all year long and keep in our living and working spaces!
