Captured Video of the Super Blood Moon transitioning into a Lunar Eclipse on Tuesday, Sept 27, 2015.
The sky was overcast for a good portion of the event, but I managed to get some decent footage despite the challenging conditions.
Sorry for the shaky bits. Had to constantly adjust ISO and Shutter Speed for maximum visibility.
The first part is shot in timelapse, because the moon was too dark to capture with video, due to all the clouds. It's also somewhat blurry until the moon brightens up.
Overall I learned a lot through this experiment, and pretty happy that I was able to capture this rare event on video.
Hope you enjoy. Thanks for watching
Below is the equipment I used during the filming.
Equipment:
Camera - Canon EOS 70D
Lens - Sigma DC 150-500mm
Video Tripod - Manfrotto
