Arilus - Wheel Bug Nymph
At the time, I wasn't sure what genus this assassin bug belonged to. I'd never seen an assassin bug of this size either. Quite big, even though not fully grown. I tried getting photos of it and only managed a few shots. This guy was in constant motion and I was using only natural light, most shots were pretty blurry. I decided to just let him go where he wished and tooka short video clip. So, here he is, navigating around on a tree in the cloud forest reserves at Septimo Paraiso, Mindo, Ecuador.
