If you are wanting to know how to use keywords to rank high in google in minutes there are a couple of important things you must understand before I share. The first thing is no matter what if you do not use some sort of search engine optimization your videos will be very difficult to find. A huge part of seo is the use of key words. What are people actually typing on their keyboards all over the world to find a particular topic. Are they looking for cat videos or are they wanting to learn how to train a cat. See the difference?
If you are wanting to sell a product or service through yotube you have to be able to cut through all the crap. There are litterally millions of videos posted every day. So to cut through some of the chatter you have to follow a few rules and break a few new ones.
Here are the basic rules of seo.
You have to have your titles match most of your target keywords.
You have to have the keywords that you are targeting somewhere in your description at least a few times.
Your tags should be what people are searching for to find your video.
Your videos should be anywhere from 2 min to 10 minutes in length. 30 sec is too short and depending on your video message 10 minutes could feel like a long time.
The longer people stay to watch your videos the better. Youtube loves when people hang out and watch one video after another. This is called watch time.
Your description should be 200-500 words.
You should ask people to subscribe to your videos always include in your description.
You should have a link to your website.
