This video demonstrates the simulation of an internal combustion engine powered by syngas with Aspen Plus.

Syngas composition:
H2: 0.1625 mol-basis
CO: 0.1697 mol-basis
CO2: 0.0990 mol-basis
H2O: 0.0422 mol-basis
CH4: 0.0495 mol-basis
N2: 0.4771 mol-basis

Syngas mol flow: 20.71 kmol/h

Syngas temperature: 30 °C

Syngas pressure: 1 bar

Stoichiometric air ratio: 3

Isentropic compression and expansion coefficients: 0.9

Pressure of combustion chamber: 20 bar
