Characterization of Molecules Using Aspen Properties
In this video we will estimate the properties of Benzamide with Aspen Plus as if it were not present in the Aspen Plus databanks.
The we will compare the estimated properties with the properties of the molecule is in the Aspen Plus databanks.
We use the following data for the estimation:
Melting point of Benzamide: 130 °C
Normal boiling point of Benzamide: 288 °C
Density of Benzamide: 1.341 g/cm³
