How to Increase Your Backpack Size | Return to Moria
If you are new to Return to Moria, the first thing you should do is upgrade your backpack from a scout’s pack to an adventurer’s pack.
This will boost your backpack capacity from 10 slots to 25 slots, which makes a huge difference in how fast you can progress since you won't need to keep going back to your base to store items.
To craft the adventurer's pack, you will need to build a workbench using 2 iron ingots and 15 elven wood.
You can find the elven wood in the Elven Quarter which is unlocked very early in the game by playing through the story. After finding your first piece of elven wood, the workbench recipe will unlock.
After that, all you need to do is collect 8 hides by defeating these strange deer, build your workbench and craft your brand-new backpack.
