Hey pregnant ladies,
34th week brings you closer to the reality of motherhood
At 34th week of pregnancy, the amniotic fluid appreciates unwaveringly in terms of volume. By the end of the week, it then depreciates to give the baby space for movement
Height of your baby is 17.72 inches and he weighs 4.73 pounds
With the final stages of growth, the baby skin grows thicker than ever
Fats are filling the baby out, making him/her rounder
Your baby's nails reach the top of the cuticle
Both boy and girl babies are producing lots of sex hormones now, which will explain why the genitals may appear large and swollen at birth
For boys, the testicles begin to make their way to the scrotum. This however appears to about 95% of the total boys born
The remaining percentage normally makes its way before the first year is over
Your baby's lungs and central nervous system continue to mature
Vernix that is the white waxy coating that protects baby's skin from amniotic fluid and provides lubrication for delivery is thickening right on prepping schedule
Expectant mothers should drink lot of water to keep their bodies hydrated and to keep up a well-moisturized and healthy skin.
The amount of water a pregnant mother takes also determines the volume of amniotic fluid, and helps avoid contractures
