How to Color Correct Green Underwater GoPro Video
A demonstration of how underwater cinematographer Joe Kistel turns ugly green GoPro footage into more natural appearing imagery. The process is demonstrated using tools available in most video editing software. Kistel shows the color correction using two primary tools in Adobe Premier, the Luma Curve and RGB Curves.

If you ever asked "why is my GoPro video green" this video will show you how to fix it and make your Gopro video look better. The green is caused by the underwater environment and the GoPro's auto white balance system. Depending on the depth of water you are in and the location a lot of times the footage will come out green. The good news we can fix this to some degree in our video editing software.
