In this video I share what I feel are the best camera settings for capturing underwater video using a GoPro camera when scuba diving. The GoPro camera settings I demonstrate can apply to capturing underwater photographs as well.

These settings are intended to help maximize the quality of imagery a scuba diver can generate from their GoPro camera when diving a typical recreational scuba diving depths. These are the GoPro settings I use to capture underwater video at depths of 30 feet through 130 feet. The underwater camera settings described are intended for shooting using natural light and not supplemental camera lighting. I utilize a GoPro Hero 3+ in this video demonstration but the settings showcased should apply to most GoPro models.
