Hello Korean learners! 👋
We started Unit 1 by stating where we are from. Since we use country names when creating words that indicate nationality in Korean, learning the basic country names is actually sufficient. However, we will also test whether you can identify these words you know in the Korean sentences you listen to. This exercise consists of 5 questions in total, starting with an example question (보기 - bogi).
🎧 What will you test in this video?
✨ Have we learned the Korean country names?
✨ Can we recognize basic Korean sentences?
✨ Can we identify the Korean words we know from among the Korean dialogues?
📝 How should you study?
1. Take your book or a piece of paper with you and write down your answers.
2. The exercise will start with 보기 (bogi), which is an example, and will show you how the system works.
3. Then, for each question, the question number is read aloud at the beginning (like “일 번” for question 1). Following this, the dialogue or audio of the question will be played and repeated twice.
4. After the second repetition, the question is read aloud, giving you an extra 10 seconds to answer. Note which of the options (① / ② / ③ / ④) is correct.
5. In the second part of the video, you will have the chance to listen to the audio again. And then you can check your correct and incorrect answers.
