Day One. Tuesday 8th June.
You get the basics of social media. You know your retweet from your DMs, and you understand the word algorithm, even if you’re not quite sure how it works.
It’s now time to take your social media activity to the next level. In the morning of Day One, Emma Provins, of Skylight9, will be helping you to level-up your social media activity. Using her hands-on experience, she'll take you through Facebook Ads Manager looking in detail at A/B testing, includes advertising on Instagram. You will also look at plugins available on Facebook to make managing your messages easier and booking appointments online.
In the afternoon you’ll be exploring the world of LinkedIn in-detail with Yola O’Hara of Visually Explained. As the platform sees a unprecedented boost in engagement, are you selling yourself, and your business, as effectively as possible? Become a LinkedIn super-user by the end of the session.
Day Two. Wednesday 9th June.
The digital landscape is now a battle ground and one that is evolving at a staggering pace. Business are confronted with never ending list of options.
Henny from Pink Elephant Media, a specialist in Growth Marketing techniques, will talk to you about how you decide what routes to market you should take and how to uncover your competitors digital strategies and apply these to your business in a way that will turn heads and ultimately see rapid growth.
Building on this, she'll also take you through what email platform is best for you next digital campaign, how to build your email marketing list including affiliates and RSS feeds, how to monetise your list, and everything you need to know for a customer journey including segmentation and AB Testing.
Day Two. Wednesday 9th June.
Our Business Guides are the best of the best. They’ll drive you, challenge you, and work with you to solve the challenges both known and unknown.
Over the course of an afternoon on Wednesday 9th June you’ll get to meet all six, as they guide you through everything you need to know about strategy.

FAQS
When is the Digital Leadership Academy being held?
It's all online and takes place on June 8th and June 9th 2021.
What are the timings?
Each day will start at 09.30, you'll have a 30 minute lunch break at 12.15, and you'll be finished by 15.30. So plenty of time for working on your new ideas, taking a work call or sharing your insights with your colleagues.
Is it really free?
Yes! We will just need to ask a few questions to make sure you're eligible and that it's the right event for your business.
What will I need to access the Academy?
It will be held on Zoom, so all you need is access to a device compatible with Zoom. We recommend you join via a Laptop or Desktop so you can have space to take notes, you'll want to be writing down all your new ideas!
How to a get a link to join the Zoom call?
We will review your application form just to check you're eligible to attend. Our events team will then send you a Zoom link. This link takes you to a bespoke registration page where you just need to spend one minute putting in your name and email. This will then trigger an automated email from Zoom with your personal link to join the session. This step is really important so make sure you do it as soon as possible, and keep your email with your personal link in safe.
Is the Academy recorded?
No, we can't record the sessions. If speakers are happy to share their slides then they will be circulated after the event.
Can I join the Academy for just one day?
You can, but we really recommend attending both days if you can. They are designed to work together to give you a complete picture on your digital strategy and there is huge value in completing the programme. But if you just can't make both days work, then during registration you can select the day you want to attend.
Can I access extra support after attending the Academy?
We'd be delighted to see what support you're eligible for, and help you to access it. Just get in touch with us after day two and we'll see what we can do.
