Entombed - Wolverine Blues (Instrumental Cover)
The title track of the album that introduced me to the music of Entombed, many many years ago. They're such a fun band to listen to and to play along with, no frills just straight up rock n roll. I really had fun making this, hoping that you'll enjoy it too!
Some info about the recording...
I tried to capture the vibe of the original and I think I achieved that somewhat. Certainly it's not the same but I think it's close enough. Guitars and bass were recorded with the Axe-FX 3 and the drums were programmed with Superior Drummer 3.
For the guitars I made a preset consisting of a Metal Zone pedal (gain set to 3.5 and mids to 0) going into a Diezel Herbert - gain set to 0.5, bass to 2, mids to 0, treble to 6.5, presence to 6 and master to 8. The IR's I used were Factory2 #684 - 4x12 Dizzy K100 421 B1 ML and my trusty 4x12 Kalthannen #4. I also added a GEQ at the end boosting the highs (4khz+) a bit and cutting some lows.
