(cw) Change of Heart (Epoch) | OCs, Thunder | Parts 9 and 10
WARNING: Starvation/Emaciated Body
Had to learn some new editing techniques for this one (bezier masking)! I also discovered how to make my files smaller because I couldn't upload them to discord. Turns out the bitrate was ridiculously high and bloating the file size even though the quality I was using didn't make a difference.
Anyways... slight edit to descriptions, now adding characters and script/story to them because I realized how often I look for the story in the description of other people's videos.

Script: Thunder, with the help of his friends and partner, has started a path of recovery from his survivors guilt. He has begun to believe that others getting hurt isn't inevitable and so pacifism is a viable option. This... to say the least... isn't helpful for Haven, or the pack (New Hope), as they often use violent means to keep other packs from harming them.
One wolf, who Thunder had saved in a battle, Ari, has not been taking too kindly to the rules of New Hope, and has been actively speaking against them. As a test to his obedience and to rid the pack of their "problem wolf", Haven orders Thunder to kill him. Thunder, for once, speaks up against them, and is promptly shut down and yelled at.
Thunder eventually tries to go through with it, but snaps, and gives Ari a chance to run, leaving him with a free conscience. A month later, he is called into a meeting with his mentor (Raven), Haven, and Chancel (Haven's daughter and heir to the pack).
Haven did not take kindly to his orders being disobeyed, and decided to prove that pacifism isn't the moral high ground he thinks it is, and can only cause more harm.
Instead of a quick death like Haven had planned, Ari was captured and left to starve for weeks, in the end causing more suffering. Haven then gives Thunder a choice to make...
