Enhancements to MediSave l Committee of Supply 2020
Senior Minister of State for Health Edwin Tong announced the new enhancements made to MediSave500 at the Committee of Supply debate on 5 March 2020. From 2021, the annual withdrawal limits for patients with complex chronic conditions will be raised in an extension of the scheme, MediSave700.
MediSave will also be expanded to cover severe disability under the upcoming MediSave for Long-Term Care scheme. With the cash withdrawals, patients will also have greater flexibility to choose appropriate care options.
