Heartaches - Al Bowlly: Animated Short Film
Animated ‘Heartaches’ sung by Al Bowlly using 8 individual articulated puppets and 16 heads (8 per character). Animated over two 9-hour sessions with a downshooter and multiple painted backgrounds. Mediums used are paper, water colour, and ink. Composited in after effects. I had a great time putting this together, and the song is now eternally stuck in my head! I hope you all like this film as much as I loved creating it.
