Mr. Williams Goes to Washington
On Tuesday, January 27, 2009, HDSF student Reginald Williams traveled to Capitol Hill to speak on a panel about a recently introduced Congressional bill.
H.R. 106, which was introduced by Congressman Chaka Fattah, will offer a $4,000 educational tax credit to college students who volunteer 100 hours of community service.
Reginald, a senior at Benjamin Banneker Academic High School, spent five minutes talking about how community service has impacted his life.
