Featured Choreographers October: Mitul Sengupta and Shambik Ghose
Our October Featured Choreographers are the Directors of Rhythmosaic Segupta Dance Company, Mitul Sengupta (Chorographer, Psychologist and Movement Therapist) and Shambik Ghose (Choreographer, Researcher and artistic mentor).
As choreographic artists, Mitul and Shambik engage in expressions instilled in traditional bodily wisdoms. They use Kathak, classical Jazz, classical Ballet and Contemporary dance styles to explore embodied movement and somatic-based possibilities to awaken artistic consciousness.
The choreographic voice of Rhythmosaic explores a radical language that expresses critical issues of the current physical body. The company's current artistic commitment to culture and society is to tell, listen and share stories.
