Route History
Route 126 began on 01st September 1940 running between Beckenham Junction and Bromley North which is very different to the route it does today it ran from Elmers End Garage, the 126 itself has run as far as Woolwich, Plumstead, Welling and Bexleyheath from various route changes.
The route today is run from Orpington Garage which has operated the route since 2013 with single deckers and occasionally double deckers appear, and previously before that from Dartford Garage by Arriva from 1996-2013.
