Exploiting UE5 for about half an year I was building this scene just for training. A little fly animation around the cave catching some fine global illumination from Lumen. I made a dozen of assets displaced with Quixel Mixer and using Triplanar projected Texture material with baked AO, Edge, Cavity in the Vertex colors by channels. Uv's are only used for blending with the Normals from Quixel mixer bake. It seems like a nice way using custom Nanite meshes . Textures are mapped by World position and the blending between merge objects is seamless rather than with baked textures and they look more homogeneous with each other.
