Tesla’s most popular plug-in electric vehicle was produced in 2017, with worldwide sales of over 5 hundred thousand. But, between January and March 2022, Tesla crossed the 310,000 units threshold. In this video, we will be discussing the tesla statistics for 2021-2022.

Tesla’s total revenue in 2021 was $53.8 billion; the company experienced a 70.64% growth in sales during that year. In 2022, Tesla will remain the largest EV manufacturer in revenue and market share.

The annual production has been steadily increasing as in 2013; the company produced only 22,442 vehicles, whereas in 2021, the company set a new record by delivering 936,222 EVs. Starting from 2013 to 2021, there is about 82.5% year-over-year growth.

Most vehicles were delivered to China in 2021, where 478,078 EVs were produced in Gigafactory Shanghai. However, the company is gaining popularity in Europe, and in 2021 169,507 vehicles were sold in European countries.
In the United States, the annual sales of Tesla in 2014 were 16,689, whereas in 2021, it reached 302,000.

Talking about the Tesla charging stations, at the beginning of 2022, there were about 3,725 Tesla Supercharger stations worldwide. Due to the increased sales over recent years, Tesla added 1,652 new supercharger stations from July 2018 to July 2021.

Now, the customers can receive their car within a week after booking. Currently, Tesla’s EVs are being produced in the US, China, and Germany. In 2022, Tesla hired 99,920 employees.
We can conclude from these statistics that Tesla can easily outclass and outsell other producers of EVs despite the tough competition.
