Explaining the New Digital SAT + Helpful Calculator (2024 SAT Review)
In this YouTube video we go over the new 2024 digital SAT, including the curriculum, format, time, and number of questions. You can no longer take a paper version of the SAT, this transition into the digital SAT takes on much bigger changes than just pencil to mouse. We particularly review the math the section, because that's where most instructional and format changes occur. We also review the calculator they provide on the SAT, which is an on-screen digital calculator that will take some getting used to if you haven't already used it.

The SAT is not a test you can pass or fail, but rather an indication of your academic prowess and is utilized by colleges as well as scholarship providers. Not only will your SAT score help you get into colleges and get scholarships, but it can replace high school credits for math classes you failed. As of 2024, the SAT is capable of replacing your Algebra 1 EOC credit if you get a score of 420 or higher on the math section. This is incredibly valuable because the Algebra 1 EOC credit is a required credit for high school graduation. Use this video to help prepare you for the digital SAT format, even if you already took the digital SAT, you may learn new tips and features in this short YouTube video.
