Calculate your monthly interest based on your APY for your credit card or any other type of loan.

In this example, we use credit card debt to represent a real-life scenario where math knowledge can help you. By understanding the monthly payments, you can better budget and approach any debts you have with confidence in how it will impact your financial freedom.

If you're $450 in debt, and your credit card has an APY of 28%, you can use the formula provided in this video to find your monthly interest of $10.50. Understand the $10.50 will only be the interest for that month of debt, because the remaining debt will stack onto itself as the months pass.
