In this episode we are fishing for carp in strong river current using an LQ Rig, Stonze weight and maize for a hook bait. I placed my camera in the close margins as current was very strong and I was able to position the camera and bait along a current seam/eddy. This seam allowed the carp to hug the edge of the river which is exactly where I placed my bait. I was able to use a pile of rocks to funnel the carp into a clear patch. My free offerings were placed poorly but that did not seem to bother the carp as they still were able to feed and eventually I got a run.
This section of river is unique as the carp cannot leave so we are able to recapture fish over time including the current and past known biggins which are featured in this film.
There are more underwater films to come featuring carp and footage from this section of river which I hope you enjoy.
Thanks for watching!
