A nice, easy to set-up training mode drill for confirming you are doing Cannon Strike at the lowest possible height. By whiffing Cammy's cr. HP, it'll move Cammy slightly forward. At this spacing, after setting the training room to corner and whiffing cr. HP, if you IA Dive Kick you will be at +5 on hit.
SFV Instant Air Cannon Strike isn't nearly as good as it was in SFIV, but it's still worth maximizing your frames when performing it. You can be as advantageous as +7 on hit when spaced right, and as safe as +1 on block as well. Dive with care, Cammy players.
It's worth noting that EX Cannon Strike has a lower minimum height.
