SFV Cammy - Dealing with Throws / Using Shimmy / Throw Techs
Per many requests, blockstring presents a look at Cammy's options of shutting down and baiting throw techs in Street Fighter V. Many of these options can be applied by any character, while others are Cammy specific. There really are limitless options to dealing with stand teching, and ultimately it comes down to your opponent's throw tech tendencies.
Meaty Attack: a meaty attack, simply put, is a move that connects with the opponent as they recover from a knockdown. A meaty attack will be active just before the opponent fully recovers frmo a knockdown. In otherwords, the attack won't be starting up, but already extended onto the opponent. Meaties will beat stand tech, back dash, jump away, or any button they press. Many meaty attacks will beat reversals with no lower body invincibility as well.
