How One Jutsu (Almost) Broke Naruto
There is one jutsu used and created by Itachi that could have broken Naruto. And when I say Naruto I am both referring to the Naruto series and Naruto as a character. It's a genjutsu powerful enough to entrap a Naruto that had trained to break out of Genjutsu and torment him. This genjutsu is the Ephemeral Genjutsu aka the Finger Genjutsu.
Itachi's body double uses his finger genjutsu on Naruto during the Kazekage Rescue Arc during the Itachi vs Naruto and Kakashi fight. So let's talk about how this Genjutsu is overpowered and broken in many ways.
