Love/Hate/London - Alison Kriel
For episode 7, we are moving away from the usual snappy format of this series, slowing down the pace a bit before Christmas. Take a few moments to see London through the eyes of our next wonderful contributor, Alison Kriel.
Alison has been a very successful headteacher who turned an underperforming school in Hackney into one of the best schools in London, by focusing on diversity, inclusivity and both her students' and her teachers' well-being. She is now working on an educational project Above&Beyond which aims to give schools and teachers worldwide a platform to exchange ideas and improve education for the next generation.
As you will see, for Alison diversity is what makes London special. Very important words at a time when we seem to create more and more divisions and uncertainty.
