aATP BOP (Back order processing)
• Sales order cancelled, then stock should be freed up
• Whenever high priority customer places an order and if the stock is not available, then unconfirm the stock from low priority customer to high priority customer
• Business process document available that is 2LN. Its available in S4 hana cloud and public edition.
• 1JW is available in S4 Hana cloud private editions
• There are certain tcodes available in traditional ERP, V_RA and V_V2
• BOP works based on strategies like Win, Gain, Redistribute, Fill and Lose
• Win – Confirm as requested date.
o Order placed with 10 qty. But confirmed for only 5. It will be fully confirmed
• Gain – Will try to improve ATP situation and it won’t lose current confirmation
o Order placed with 10 qty. But confirmed for only 5. It might or might not confirm remaining 5 quantity.
• Redistribute – Might improve or might not. Can loose current confirmation
o Order placed with 10 qty. But confirmed for only 5. It might lose the confirmed quantity 5 or improve.
• Fill – No improve and can lose current confirmation
o Order placed with 10 qty. But confirmed for only 5. It will lose the confirmed quantity 5
• Lose – Delete everything
