Here at AMGI Animation Studios, we are happy to introduce LITTLE KAIJU, the story of gigantic monsters who have the heart and silliness of little children.
With our Los Angeles team animating remotely, LITTLE KAIJU was rendered near real-time using the Unreal Engine. This is the first character animation project to take advantage of real-time hair simulation. We’ve put over 275,000 hairs on an alembic cached deforming character with ray tracing. All environments and rendering were done in UE4 with an average render time at about 1 second per frame.
Enjoy and stay safe and healthy!
