Creating a 3D Hand-Painted Blue Door in Blender | Stylized 3D Illustration
Made with Texture Painting and Grease Pencil.
Hey everyone! In this video, I’m showing you how I created a vibrant 3D blue door entrance in Blender—no voiceover, just some chill music to set the mood.
Watch as I model the blue door setup from scratch, then dive into the Blender hand painting process. I use texture painting to give the scene a stylized, painterly look, complete with painterly lighting and shadows. You’ll also see how I use grease pencil to add 2D elements, like detailed designs on the doors, and make them glow using the glow effect in Blender 4.2.
To top it off, I tweak the scene using color management, bloom, and shader nodes, enhancing the colors and perfecting that stylized NPR look. If you're into Blender 3D illustration, texture painting, or creating stylized environments, this video might help you out with your ideas.
