Strathern Heather Rose Review
My fiftieth gin to review is Strathern Heather Rose. It was served with Indian tonic water and garnished with orange, lavender and juniper berries. After giving it a try I DO RECOMMEND this gin. I didn't taste gin but it was very smooth and unique. I would definitely have it again. I also recommend YOU try and see what YOU think. Cheers!
More on this gin from the menu: Strathern Heather Rose features the sweet, vibrantly floral combination classic Scottish heather and delicate rose. "Barrel aged” gins are described as “Aged in barrels creating a floral and whisky edge".
My background: I worked at the Thatched Cottage Hotel in Brockenhurst, England during the summer of 2019 and they have a gin bar with over 150 gins. I thought it would be a nice summer project to try as many as I could during my stay :-)
