I ate this 3 times this week, super good, I made this with the intentions of crossing over Chinese bbq & Char sui flavors! We cook this at a lower temperature of 350F instead of my usual 450F because of all the sugars (it gets burnt, trust me I have bloopers LOL) Comes out super juicy I hope you guys enjoy!

IssaGrill's Spirited Away Banquet Chicken
-1 Cornish Game Hen (mine was 1.7lbs)
-2 green onion stalks
-2 garlic cloves (halved)
-salt, pepper
-1 Tablespoon light soy
-1 Tablespoon dark soy
-2 Tablespoon oyster sauce
-1 Tablespoon honey
-1/2 Tablespoon brown sugar
-1 tsp Chinese 5 spice
-2 grated garlic
Cook 350F for 1 hour, flip half way, do an extra 5 mins on the side that you want to present (mine happened to be the back side because the anime presented that side)
***If you're using a full sized chicken, not a cornish hen, your cook time will vary from 1h20~1h30m, this means that your marinade will burn as this marinade is only meant to cook for 30 minutes on each side (1h total) This means that you will have to cover your chicken with foil at some point in the cooking process!
***350F is essential oven temp, I usually cook my chickens at 450F but anything higher than 350F will burn the marinade before cooking the hen throughout
