Secularisation thesis refers to belief that modern societies will become secular. Sociologists in the 1950/60's predicted that the modernisation process e.g. industrialisation, the emergence rational thinking and the scientific method would lead to the decline in religion.
The video is split into the following sections
1. Brief definition of the secularisation and explanation of the patterns of religiosity around the globe today. Remember secularisation hasn't been proven correct. On a global scale, religion is growing!
