Ableton Live 11 Tutorial - Using Effects Racks and Macros for Performance & Automation
This is a tutorial for Ableton Live 11. It is presented by Lorne Bregitzer, an Associate Professor for the University of Colorado Denver and an Ableton Certified Trainer.
This is designed for musicians just starting with Ableton Live. It is created to get people up and running and making music as quickly as possible. This is an alternative to books that are poorly written or do not present a logical workflow.
In this video, I demonstrate how to create an effects rack. This allows you to use, control, and automate multiple devices using the macro knobs. I show how to attach multiple parameters to macro knobs, as well as modify the range of them so that you can automate along a specific set amount of the parameters.
