In this video, I go through the process of mastering a single track using mostly SSL plugins. This process will prepare your track for streaming services. It will make sure that you are able to hit the target LUFS and True Peak, basically the overall loudness.

All devices used are native plugins and devices mostly the SSL (Solid State Logic) plugins. The only plugins that are not from SSL are the Youlean Loudness Meter and the Plugins Alliance Brainworx BX Limiter True Peak. The SSL plugins utilized include: SSL Fusion Vintage Drive, SSL Fusion Stereo Image, SSL Native X-EQ 2, and the SSL Native Bus Compressor 2.

These processes will entail Compression to bring the mix forward to mastering levels. Equalization to clear up the track, add air, and deal with harsh, unwanted, frequencies. The limiter is used to bring the mix to the appropriate LUFS and True Peak.

The addition of the third party Youlean Loudness Meter is used to track the loudness, so that the track hits the appropriate levels for streaming services, such as Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube.
