We should help to rebuild the Ozone layer, as much as we can, or we'll perish too, an earthquake here and there, and we'll kill Earth or cause so much damage than life won't be the same anymore.

To help creatives of all kind, scholars, self-taughed, inventors, technicians, developers, scientists, doctors of all nations, etc.. we should be able to release and patent by the same way our innovations and protect them from industrial stealing, somewhere, but for free.
GNU/GPL is kinda the solution except for the money. And we need some, just to keep up the good work.
I know it's not really the place, and I may be misinformed, but if I am, a lot are too.
Patents are sometimes dumb, CC allow a commercial use without retribution, GNU/GPL is by definition the protection about the creator's name, not really about a code or an invention.
Code is under licence, but everyone is allowed to modify it, the creator must be informed about the modifiction, but he can't force someone to delete an altered version.
To say it simply, so-called "soap lamp" ("lampe savon" in France) is found on stores but using low quality parts, and they sold it cheaper than the original, I'm not sure the inventor got a cent with what looked like copies for me. Or if you create a robot for paralyzed people, may be you don't want that this big toy could be used or sold as a weapon by bigger corporations than your small business. Because you create and develop, you can't be everywhere, searching copies everytime, etc.. It's really the kind of things that could give you headaches before something has ever been drawn on paper.
If you know the kind of free international patent I'm looking for, I'd be glad to hear about it.
