Pocket Character Practice | Tekken 8 Lee Gameplay
This was recorded October 11th, which I say like 30 seconds into the video, I love repeating myself! Bit of a shorter video today, but I just wanted to post some gameplay of me on a character that’s not Lars, because Lee is very fun to play and I think I can play him at a semi competent level at the very least, even if objectively speaking I’m not like super great. You don’t really need to be super great though if you have decent fundamentals, which I think I have (besides throw escape LOL), so it’s okay.
I won’t yap too much about my Lee in the description since the video speaks for itself, but my Lee is still very one note. b3, 3 and the 10 hit combo are my carry buttons, I’m just like Miirio… which may or may not be my inspiration to play this character. I like watching him play I think that guy is hilarious, even if objectively speaking he’s not like the best Lee player ever (no hate), but he makes Lee look very fun to play, and he is, so now we are here. Anyways I don’t think I play particularly terrible here, outside of the Devil Jin games because yikes, but I don’t think my Lee is remotely close to Tekken King levels or anything. I still rely a bit too much on knowledge checks and stuff, but I’m sure in a few weeks or a month I can clean that up a lot more. I might try picking up another character at some point, I think I’ll get to an ASBR type spot where I have at least 3 characters I’m very confident in playing. In ASBR it was 4Taro, Jonathan, and Kira, and in Tekken it’ll prob be Lars, Lee, and a currently undecided third character. Leroy has my eyes, and maybe someone like Yoshi if I want to give other people cancer, but again I’m not thinking too hard about it because learning a morbillion characters is not really my life goal in Tekken, I just wanna play people and have fun, and I have fun on Lars and Lee, so I’ll play them.
That’s about all I wanna yap about I think. Not sure when I’ll upload again but I’ll def try and keep at least once a week. “It’s my channel 🤓” or something. But yeah, hope you enjoy, happy thanksgiving weekend (if you’re a Canadian like me at least), and we shall see how the next video plays out…
