Best practices for battery power management on Eliminator 6. Eliminator 6 is powered by CR123A battery. Get over 10,000 ranges with a single battery. Although this is incredible, there are a few things users can do to prolong battery life in the Eliminator 6 .
First, users can adjust the illumination and brightness on the side of the Eliminator. To make the battery life last longer, we recommend that you put the illumination to the lowest level that is optimal for your hunt.
Second thing you can do is to go to the Burris connect app and change the extended and initial display timeout settings. This changes the amount of time the heads display is illuminated between ranges.
Although Eliminator 6 uses virtually zero power when not in use, we recommend that you remove the battery if you're going to store your rifle for an extended period of time. Removing the battery does not change any settings or ballistics you have set up on your scope, so there is no risk in doing it.
