The Burris Eliminator 6's has advanced onscreen messages and status indicators. To help maximize your potential, it's important to understand these messages. Watch to learn what "Range Error," "Too Far," and "Zoom Out" messages mean on Eliminator 6.
You may encounter a "Range Error" due to environmental factors like fog, dust, or shooter instability impacting the laser ranging. Excessive target reflectivity can also trigger this message.
If you see "Too Far" populate the display, it indicates you've successfully ranged a distance, but it exceeds the maximum effective range of your loaded ballistics profile and riflescope reticle.
Another possible message is "Zoom Out." This directs you to decrease the Eliminator 6's magnification power, as you've exceeded the maximum zoom level for the distance you are ranging.
