What is coefficient of determination means R2 and what it actually represents in an econometric model. Then we go toward the total sum of square, explained sum of square, and residual sum of square. We discuss these all with the help of a graph which represent TSS, RSS, ESS.
We solved an equation for the coefficient of determination R2 and we represent this in the graph. We presented all the possibilities of the coefficient of determination in the graph. And at the end we explained and present the difference of coefficient of correlation with coefficient of determination.
