What is population regression function and sample regression function? The population regression function known as the #PRF is used to present the average variations in dependent variable with respect to independent variable. Where we calculate the expected value of y condition on x. we discuss the E(y/x), E(u/x) which is equal to zero and the error term with the help of graph and table. After understanding the population regression function, we discuss the sample regression function which is used to estimate the unknown parameters of population regression function. Where we present two different samples and run a regression on the sample. The curve of population regression function and sample regression function are presented and explained.
