Early Spring Herping San Diego
What is it like to herp San Diego in the spring you ask? Well it's beautiful weather and normally is the greenest time of the year. It's most common to find gopher snakes, Southern Pacific and Red Diamond Rattlesnakes, as well as the California Kingsnake. You can find some other species but those are probably the most common to find. Lots of wild flowers are present and they always makes it that much prettier!
