Transitional Period | Tekken 8 Lars Gameplay
Feels weird to be back, almost as weird as this garbage intro I recorded in 1 and a half takes because evidently quantity over quality is my motto. Anyways, it’s good to be back. I’m gonna try and not retread same talking points in the description that I did in the intro, but I suppose I can do a quick cliff notes for those who skipped it.

I’m basically done with ASBR, maybe a single return to monke video but that’s it. Sorry for abandoning the community, I can return if requested
I’m gonna be posting a lot of Tekken from now on, whether it be ranked sets, FT10s, casuals, whatever it is
I’m not super good at Tekken but I’m not bad, so don’t expect flawless gameplay. I only have 110 hours as of recording, and I’ve played for about a month total. Some people have played Tekken for years upon years, so relatively speaking I’m very new to the series
Gonna be trying different styles of videos, commentary/no commentary, basically whatever I feel like because it’s MY fuggin channel, eat my shorts

That’s about it for what I said in the intro, now I can discuss a bit of other, less important stuff, like what I’ve been doing the last months. My last public upload was on December 9th, 2023, but my last unlisted upload was on January 4th, 2024. That would be my Kira combo guide that I made for ASBR, and I recorded that basically right when I bought my PS5. I remember thinking oh boy I can’t wait to upload videos above 720p now! But then I never uploaded again so that was funny to me. I don’t have a 4K monitor though, so it’s only 1080p 60fps. For some reason it looks kind of bad when recording Tekken, but I think that’s just YouTube compression ruining it. Sorry, but you’ll need to get used to it unfortunately…
The main reason I stopped uploading honestly was because after I got my PS5, I started playing a lot of single player games, and I realized how much fun I was having playing those, which was also a lot more fun than I was having while playing ASBR. I played Spider-Man 2 and loved it, I played all three Mass Effect games and loved them (never played andromeda though), I played Sifu and 100% all the arena challenges, didn’t quite get all gold stamps because I didn’t want to DIE INSIDE, but I got three stamps on every challenge at least. I played Signalis and loved it, I actually played it twice so I could get all the achievements and whatever. I also played Disco Elysium, and that game is quite frankly incredible and I loved it a lot. I also played through it multiple times to get all the trophies for it, very good game. My point being that I spent some time playing a lot of incredible single player games, and that’s how I was spending most of my free time, instead of forcing myself to play ASBR.
Besides playing all those single player games, I also really got back into playing R6 (FOR SOME REASON). I’m currently Diamond 5, and even though I hate that game sometimes I still find it more fun than ASBR as of right now, so that’s just tough I guess. I used to upload R6 back in the day, those videos are still public too for some reason, and I really was considering making a video about that game again, but never did because I thought people wouldn’t watch it. Maybe someday…
My whole point with even mentioning that is like I said, I only want to upload stuff I have fun making, and I have been having fun with Tekken, so I may as well start posting it. For ranked videos like these, every set in ranked is FT2, and it’s a little weird showing that since I recorded these with replay mode, but it’ll be more evident when I start recording the games live. Just know that the reason some of these are rematches, is because it’s FT2. You know, unless I get one and done by ASUKA, LILI, OR KING players like in this video. I got one and doned by a Lars too, but he’s Lars so I can’t even hate since that’s my boy. I also kept fighting Steve and I’m so bad at that MU but it’s ok. That Zafina also made me crash out since idk anything about that character and she has the AUDACITY to Ki Charge me like ok buddy…
Anyways, that’s about it. I don’t really know what else to say, there really isn’t even that much TO say. I’ll try and upload once a week at least, like I used to, but I don’t want to make promises I can’t keep. I probably will upload semi regularly, but if I don’t, I’ll try and make a post about it instead of leaving without warning again.
