From calf to cow, concreting, conversion
Happy New Year 2021!
Did you have a good start?
We even had fireworks. My cows didn't mind at all; I made sure to check on them in the barn just after midnight.
And of course, there were already a few New Year's calves.
My two sweethearts were moved into the automatic feeding system a while ago. A few days ago, the whole group moved into their new quarters.
Unfortunately, they have a bit of a cold. The fresh air supply is a little worse in the new, or rather, renovated barn, plus the stress of moving and the unpleasant weather (damp and cold).
Finally, I'll show you how we're pouring concrete in the old barn extension where the calves with the automatic feeding system used to be.
