Time Rebels of Dudley - What if... our streets could be transformed with play?

Dudley’s Time Rebels are mostly local people; doers and creatives of all kinds, from students to grandparents. Together they have taken up the challenge to nurture imagination and long-term thinking in Dudley. Here they share how they work.
During late 2020 and early 2021 the Time Rebels mainly gathered on Dudley’s Virtual High Street for lunchtime and evening Food for Thought sessions. Here they shared ideas, collaborated on experiment designs, offered and received support from each other, and shared insights and learning.
Throughout 2021 Time Rebels have been bringing their experiments to life in Dudley town centre, inviting the people who live, work and play on and around the High Street to imagine new futures for Dudley.
