Do Fest 2021 - experiments on the High Street
Do Fest Dudley 2021 was part of an adventure to discover new kinds of doing, creating and making that unlock our imaginations. Our aim is to help bring forgotten and unloved spaces and places to life. We do this by sharing stories and mementos which reveal hidden histories of Dudley as well as being curious about where we might find and generate dreams. We invite you to join our Time Rebels to journey on an adventure to the future.
Our relationship with the High Street is changing. Shops are closing and leaving empty spaces behind. With our High Street in decline how might we begin to change it and how might we make a kinder and more creative High Street?
Since the start of the year a group of Time Rebels have been researching ideas around the future of Dudley. Do Fest and our Rebels in Residence offers you the opportunity to join in to find out more about their ideas and help shape the High Street of the future.

About: Do Fest Dudley is a 3-day open festival curated by CoLab Dudley inviting the people of the town to get involved in some hands on doing and making. This year’s Do Fest took place on the 30th July – 1st August.
