X-men- I'm Still Here
This is a video I've wanted to make since I first started making vids. Somewhere, maybe on a fan website many years ago, someone mentioned this song would go perfectly with a Charles/Erik video. I wrote it down and vowed I'd make it one day. So we're talking years of listening to the song and marinating on what I wanted it to look like. I'm extremely pleased and satisfied with how it turned out.
The idea of the video is showcasing the complicated little mess of a relationship that is Charles/Erik/Raven. The viewpoint shifts from verse to verse, sometimes Charles for one line, then Raven for the next, etc. Whether you see it as pure friendship or a romantic relationship, throughout the movies, their relationship with each other is forever changing and evolving. Sometimes good, sometimes bad, they are always connected to each other, no matter how far they go or try to run from each other. Even into their old age, they remain "still here", always there when the other turns to find them.
