Thor- For The First Time In Forever (Reprise)
First upload of the year and it's a crack video. Go me! So, I saw Frozen and it gave me all the warm fuzzies because it was about siblings who love each other despite their dysfunction. So I decided to apply it to Thor and Loki. There's a lot of parallels, with one extroverted sibling being cheerfully oblivious (at first) to the introverted sibling hiding secrets. Those two really just need a musical number to work out all their issues.....
No, really, I did the vid it's because I will never not find it funny to sync up the voices of soprano female singers to manly grown men. I thought about doing a real lip-sync, but that seemed a bit too much to bite off. Instead, I mostly matched up body language, which is why the scene on the mountaintop from The Avengers switches a few times. Thor looked too pissed in that scene and I needed him to look more loving and concerned. I think the best sync-ups are the "'What?' 'You kind of set off an eternal winter everywhere.'" and "'Sure you can. I know you can.'" bits. Loki's confused face and Thor's earnestness really sell it.
