Achim B'yachad: I-Shine Shabbaton 2017 | Camp Simcha
175 children, members of the elite I-Shine program from Williamsburg, Boro Park, Monsey, Skvere, and Monroe divisions, enjoyed a beautiful shabbaton at Camp Simcha.
The weekend began with SnowTubing at Mountain Creek, and then the boys were off to camp. This was a wonderful Shabbos of achdus and camaraderie, where all the children had tons of fun through a full program by the i-Shine Head counselor and coordinators . They played, and ate delicious Shabbos meals. More importantly, the children got to express their emotions within the safety of many others experiencing similar challenges to their own.
A special shout out to Meyer and Rivky Fischl, for helping make this shabbaton happen. Thank you to the scores of Achim B'Yachad volunteers, I-Shine Head counselor - Volvie Zeig, I-Shine coordinators - Effy Oberlander, Yanky Hirsch and Zevy Weber, who made this shabbaton the best ever! Food makes the mood. Thanks to Lazer Friedman for the delicious meals. Special thanks to Camp Director, Nachman Maimon for the great accommodations throughout the weekend and all year round .
